1-1/2 lbs. fresh Brussel sprouts
2 Tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic; peeled and sliced
1 medium onion, peeled and sliced thin
1/4 cup Balsamic vinegar
2 Tablespoons butter (melted)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Parmesan cheese (optional)
Trim off stems and remove any limp leaves from fresh Brussel sprouts.
Blanch the sprouts in boiling water for 5-minutes; drain.
Heat a large frying pan; add olive oil, garlic and onion. Sauté a few
minutes until onion is tender. Add blanched and drained Brussel
Sprouts. Cook until sprouts are at your desired tenderness. Add
Balsamic vinegar. Toss just until the sprouts are thoroughly coated.

Place sprouts in a serving dish. Pour melted butter over top. Sprinkle
with salt and pepper, and Parmesan cheese, if desired.
