Cherry Bars
Elayne Palmer, Rockwell City, Ia Mix: 1 cup margarine 1-2/3 cups sugar Beat into mixtu 4 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 1-1/2 tsp baking powder 3 cups flour Spread 2/3 of this mixture into a 9x13" pan or larger. Spread 1 can cherry pie filling over dough. Drop remaining dough by tablespoons over pie filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 - 60 minutes. Spread with powdered sugar frosting or serve plain.
