It's not old (was just released earlier this year), but you might want
to check out BigOven at
http://www.bigoven.com.

Lets you build meal plans, shopping lists, and more pretty quickly.

I've heard about it. Actually it's because I was doing some research
for meal recipe software. Since some time I've been using another
program called Behind Bars (www.axiomsoftech.com). It's targeted for
drink recipes and that's why I got it. Later I started using for my
meal recipes too and it does the good. After all any recipe is just a
list of ingredients !!!

Anyways, I've contacted the guys at Axiom and they told me that a new
version is in the pipeline and it will distinguish between drink &
meal recipes and will have all the features of all current recipe
programs put together!!! If that's true, that would be great!!

I don't know if anybody is interested, but it's worth a look.

He is correct Max. I use this software and it is a great program to
use. You can also swap recipes w/ other users, send them via email;
and even post / rate recipes on the community board as well. It is
fairly easy to use and their tech support actually responds back to
you in a timely manner.
