Homemade Bisquick Biscuit Mix

8 cups flour
4 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
8 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
2 teaspoons salt

Sift 3 times and add 1 3/4 cups of shortening. Cut in well. Pack
loosely
in an air tight container. Use as you do Bisquick.

This is my first time in here. Wow! I'm VERY glad to get this recipe.
Duckie, you must spend all of your time doing this. You're a veritable
fount of recipes. Anyway, I'm having such a good time looking and
copying and drooling.
Thanks for all of these.
Tonya
