Default SPICY CHEESEY BREAD

1 baguette
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespon olive oil
3 minced garlic cloves
1 tablespoon scallions
=BC teaspoon each of dried thyme, dried oregano, and crushed red
pepper
3 tablespoons grated gruyere or swiss cheese
1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
coarse salt and ground pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350=B0. In small micro bowl combine butter, olive oil,
garlic, scallions, and thyme,oregano, and red pepper. Melt in micro on
high about 1 min.
Halve the baguette lengthwise, place on baking sheet. Brush cut sides
with the mixture, sprinkle with the gruyere or swiss and parmesan.
Season with salt and pepper. Bake until cheese is melted and golden,
about 12 to 15 min.
