Title: Hamburger Casserole

-----------------COOK TIME: 30-45 MINUTES-----------------
1 lb Hamburger or lean ground
-beef
1 md Onion, chopped fine
1 cn Condensed cream of tomato
-soup
1 tb A-1 sauce
1 cn Green beans, drained
3 To 5 medium potatoes (or 2
-cups leftover mashed
-potatoes)
1 c Shredded cheddar cheese
Salt & pepper to taste

In a large skillet, brown the hamburger and onion
together. When meat is done and the onion is
transparent, drain off all meat dripping. Peel
potatoes and slice thin. Boil in salted water until
tender. In a casserole dish, combine drained
hamburger and onion with the green beans. Add can of
tomato soup and the A-1 sauce. Mix thoroughly. Drain
potatoes. Add the cooked sliced potatoes or the
mashed potatoes to the casserole dish, or mash them
first. Add salt and pepper to taste. Top with
shredded cheese and bake at 350øF for 30-45 minutes,
until heated through. Serve immediately. Typed in
