Wendy Blankenship's Champagne Cocktail (Georgia)

6 sugar cubes
12 dashes angostura bitters
6 teaspoons cognac
6 tablespoons Grand Marnier
1 bottle brut champagne, chilled
6 strips organic orange peel

Sprinkle each sugar cube with 2 dashes of bitters. Place 1 sugar cube
into each of 6 Champagne glasses. Pour 1 teaspoon of Cognac over the
sugar cube.

Add 1 tablespoon of Grand Marnier to each glass. Fill the glass with
Champagne and garnish with the orange peel.
