Default CINNAMON STREUSEL BREAD (bread machine)

CINNAMON STREUSEL BREAD (bread machine)

Streusel:

3 Tbs. cold butter
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
2 Tbs. bread or all-purpose flour
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/3 cup chopped walnuts

Prepare Streusel: Mix butter, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon
in medium
bowl until crumbly. Stir in nuts. Freeze in bowl at least 1
hour; do not
remove from freezer until ready to use. (We recommend using
butter for
the success of the streusel swirling.)

Bread:

1 cup + 2 Tbs. water
3 cups bread flour
3 Tbs. dry milk
2 Tbs. sugar
1-1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. yeast

Measure carefully, placing all ingredients except Streusel in
bread machine pan in the order recommended by the
manufacturer. Select Sweet or Basic/White cycle. Use Medium
or Light crust color. Do not use Delay cycle.

Add frozen Streusel at the beep signal or 5 minutes before
the last kneading cycle ends. Remove baked bread from pan;
cool on wire wrack. (from "Neris")
