Creamed Shrimp On Toast
Cheddar Creamed Eggs on Toast Creamed Tuna on Toast Creamed Shrimp On Toast 2 tablespoons flour 2 tablespoons butter 1 cup milk or Half & Half Dash of pepper Dash of salt 1 cup drained, canned shrimp or fresh, cooked shrimp Melt butter over low head. Add and blend in flour stirring constantly over low heat. Add Half & Half, continue stirring constantly, until thickened. Add pepper and salt to taste. Add shrimp and heat just until shrimp are heated.Do NOT overcook. Serve over toast. Cheddar Creamed Eggs on Toast 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese 1 1/2 cups milk 6 hard cooked eggs (sliced) 4 slices bacon 3+ tbsp. flour 1 med. Onion (chopped) Brown bacon and reserve. Drain most of drippings from skillet. Saute onion in remaining drippings. Combine cheese and flour and add to onion in skillet. Add milk and stir on medium heat until mixture thickens. Fold in eggs and crumbled bacon. Serve over toast. Serves 4. Covered Bridge Inn Schellsburg, Pennsylvania Creamed Tuna on Toast Canned Tuna fish, drained Cream of mushroom soup (1 can per can of tuna) 1 sm. can of English peas, drained (optional) bit of chopped pimento Combine and simmer on low for 20 minutes.
