Holiday Cider

apple cider
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
your favorite spices:
whole cloves
cinnamon sticks
whole nutmeg
orange peel

Fill your crock pot with apple cider and add 1/2 cup of dark brown sugar.
Wrap
some of your favorite spices in a coffee filter and use a twist tie to
close it.

Favorites are whole cloves, cinnamon sticks, whole nutmeg, and orange
peel. Drop the closed filter into the crock pot with cider and and allow
to simmer. Top with orange slices! Pour in more cider as needed and your
wonderful drink is kept warm all evening long
