Thanks! ~~~~~~~~~ From: "John DiFilippo Jr." Subject: venison requests?? Date: Sun, 16 Nov 2003 20:25:33 -0500 With the Deer season approaching here in PA I am looking for some venison recipes ( sausage, jerky, snack stix, etc.) Thanks in advance, John ~~~~~~~~~ Date: Sun, 16 Nov 2003 03:26:43 -0800 (PST) From: stiobhard Subject: singapore chicken im looking for a recipe for "singapore tofu" (or "singapore chicken", "singapore shrimp" etc.) it is served alongside rice and includes steamed broccoli and the main ingredient (tofu/chicken/shrimp) (and no other vegetables to my knowledge)in a sauce of (alot of) hot chili oil, garlic and (alot) finely chopped hot red chili peppers. no peanut sauce. the tofu takes on a bright crimson colour from the oil, or maybe theres another ingredient that acts as a red dye (such as the gac fruit used as a red dye in vietnamese cooking). i believe it is stir fried. this an extremely hot and spicy dish due to all all the chili involved, perhaps that hottest asian dish i have had. i have seen it at two different restaurants in texas, one chinese and one vietnamese. but havent seen it on the net. any idea what the singaporean name for this is? thanks. ~~~~~~~~~ From: (Nicolas The Great) Subject: I need a recipe for Frutti Di Mare? Italian seafood that is certain to please your palate Date: 16 Nov 2003 09:38:56 -0800 I need a good recipe for Frutti Di Mare - Pescotore. An Italian seafood dish. Clams, mussels, calamari, shrimp, spicy marinara sauce. I did a google search and only found a few. But if you know of a good recipe please share it. Thank you. I think the best place in the Country for the dish is in San Diego, at Cafe Zucchero - The dish there is called "Linguine Al Mare." And it's fabulous! But I can't wait to go back East to NY and NJ where I heard they have the best dish.
