Default George Foreman Italian Grilled Cheese

If there is one indespensible piece of cooking equipment, it would
have to be the George Foreman Grill. I use that thing so much I name
recipes after it. Follow this recipe for a high-class sandwich that is
crispy, delicious and only takes three minutes to cook.

First, plug in your grill.

You can use thinly sliced Italian bread or regular packaged bread.
Just dot one side of each piece with garlic spread, lightly splash
with olive oil and spread all that with a knife. Then sprinkle with
oregano, speckle with pesto and give each piece one more spread with
your knife.

Place one piece wet-side down on a plate and put on as much sliced
monterey jack or pepper jack as you would for a regular grilled cheese
sandwich. Then add a little shredded mozzarella. If some cooks over,
it won't hurt the grill.

Assemble the sandwich and sprinkle just a little garlic salt on top.
At this point you're basically done.

The grill is already hot. You just put your sandwich on it, close the
lid and set a timer for two minutes. Whether you press the lid down
hard is up to you. I usually do. It flattens the sandwich a little and
you get well-defined grill marks. When the timer goes off, don't
hurry. That timer doesn't know anything anyway. It's just a loudmouth.
Take the sandwich off when it's crispy.

Serve on the plate you used while assembling the sandwich and it's
like free garnish.

More often than getting fancy like this, I just make a regular George
Foreman Grilled Cheese with yellow cheese, a little melted butter and
salt. Once you know how to do that, the possibilities are endless.
BLT, turkey melt, ham & cheese.... That Italian style recipe is just
one I came up with on my own.

From CRTV.com:

The best selling appliance in the history of television started
simply as a taco maker. No kidding, attaching George Foreman to the
product at the height of his comeback turned out to be just the spark
that led to a direct response and retail blaze. Today with total sales
of 300 million dollars annually the George Foreman Family of products
not only knocks out the fat, it crushes the competition.
