Honey Mustard Dressing Honey Mustard Dressing Heloise's Honey Mustard Dressing Honey Mustard Dressing Recipe courtesy Alton Brown Show: Good Eats Episode: Pantry Raid 4: Comb Alone (Honey) 5 tablespoons medium body honey (sourwood is nice) 3 tablespoons smooth Dijon mustard 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until smooth. Serve as a dressing or a dip. Source: http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,1977,FOOD_9936_15977,00.html Honey Mustard Dressing This sweet, tangy dressing goes well with salad greens or sliced fresh fruits, or as a dipping sauce for broiled, roasted or grilled poultry. Yields 1 3/4 cups. 2 1/2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard 1/3 cup honey 1/3 cup mayonnaise 2 1/2 Tbsp. course-grained mustard (creole) 1 1/2 Tbsp. rice vinegar 8 oz. carton plain yogurt Whisk ingredients together in small bowl. Cover and chill thoroughly. Tips: Consider using low-fat or nonfat dairy products for a healthy alternative. Coat the measuring cup with nonstick cooking spray before measuring honey, for easier removal. For a thinner, tangier dressing, leave out the mayonnaise and yogurt, and substitute a tablespoon or two of vegetable oil. It had to be a typo because it was pure FIRE with the 2 tablespoons. I added more of the other ingredients to dilute the mustard and we'll be eating honey mustard dressing for a long time, but that's o.k. because it is delicious.
