Stuffed Cabbage Beet Starbucks Blueberry Coffeecake Rote Grutze Hono Bread - Honokakor Garam Masala Fruit Bars ~~~~~~~~~ Date: Wed, 23 Mar 2005 19:35:34 -0500 Subject: Omitting alcohol in food From: RAINDEAR I am looking for recipes which would normally call for wine or other alcohol (such as Boeuf Bourguignon) where you substitute other ingredients for the alcohol and still have it taste good?? like, what do i do for boeuf bourgneon(sp) it's the burgundy wine which gives the flavour, right? what can i exchange it for? and you know...other favourite recipes which use alcoholic liquids... thanks, in advance. ~~~~~~~~~ From: Vince Subject: Sfogliatelle shells I'm using a recipe I found on http://associate.com/recipes/S/101324.shtml for Sfogliatelle (an Italian desert pastry). After baking, the layered shells are coming out somewhat "crumbly" similiar to a pie crust rather than "crispy" the way the sfofliatelle are supposed to be. I am loooking for a recipes for the pastry shells where they turn out crispy.
