Default Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce (3) Collection

Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce
Alfredo Fettuccini a la Olive Garden
Olive Garden's Alfredo Sauce

From: JP
My daughter loves the alfredo sauce they serve at the Olive Garden, but
we don't have an Olive Garden near us. Does anyone know how they do it
so I can surprise for her birthday? Thanks.

Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce

Let the sauce simmer as long as you can! Please note the cream cheese is
optional, we add it to aid in thickening the sauce. Olive Garden does not
use cream cheese.

1 pint heavy cream
1/2 cup butter
2 tablespoons cream cheese
1/2-3/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder

4 servings
1-1 1/2 pints of Alfredo Sauce
25 minutes 5 mins prep

In a saucepan combine butter, heavy cream, and cream cheese.
Simmer this until all is melted, and mixed well.
Add the Parmesan cheese and Garlic powder.
Simmer this for 15- 20 minutes on low.
You may wish to season with a little salt and pepper.
I have done this with half and half, but we prefer the heavy cream.
I wouldn't try it with plain milk.

Alfredo Fettuccini a la Olive Garden

This is an awesome "knock-off" I found on the internet. The only thing I
changed was adding a little extra milk, to make the sauce thinner. If you
like it thicker, it's easy to adjust the amount of milk. I also like to
add
a dash of nutmeg, to complete the flavor. The best I've found yet!

8 ounces cream cheese, cut into bits
3/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 cup butter
1 cup milk
1 dash nutmeg, optional
8 ounces dry fettuccini, cooked and drained

4-6 servings
40 minutes
30 mins prep

My version of Olive Garden's Alfredo Sauce

I absolutely LOVE Olive Garden's Alfredo sauce, so i love this recipe
because it keeps me from spending my money at a restaurant. It taste
exactly
like it, it's amazing.

2 cups heavy cream
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup butter
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup parmesan cheese

2 servings
15 minutes

Add all ingredients in a medium sauce pan, let simmer for 12 minutes or
until the desired consistency is reached.
you can serve over your choice of pasta noodles.
or if you want, you can just have it as a dipping sauce for your bread
sticks!
I thought the recipe is pretty darn close. We have already made this twice
with in a week and a half. I had no problem with the consistency at all.
Although the leftovers do alter a bit..there really is no difference in
the
leftovers that you would heat up from the Olive Garden. I am really happy
with the recipe and I will be using it quite a bit I think!

this is a good web site for Olive Garden recipes
