Default Deep-Fried Swiss Butter Sticks

Deep-Fried Swiss Butter Sticks

9 sticks of butter
16 slices of Swiss cheese
4 cups of flour
4 eggs
1 cup of buttermilk
2 cups of powdered sugar
1 quart of bacon grease

Combine flour, eggs, and buttermilk together to form a thick paste. Set 1
stick of butter aside. Wrap each remaining stick of butter in 2 slices of
Swiss cheese. Roll each of the butter/cheese sticks in the
flour/egg/buttermilk paste making sure to cover completely. Heat bacon
grease to a boil and deep-fry sticks for 5 minutes. Melt remaining stick
of butter and paint outside of each cooked stick thoroughly. Roll sticks
in powdered sugar and let cool 10 minutes before eating.
