Default Bong Bong Chicken

Bong Bong Chicken

submitted by falkner

1 green onion, chopped
2 Tbsp grated ginger
1 Tbsp light soy sauce
1 Tbsp sesame paste (tahini)
1 Tbsp vinegar (rice is best)
1/2 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dark sesame oil (NOT the light kind)
2 Tbsp peanut oil
1 lb. boneless chicken, cut into small chunks or slivers
2 Tbsp peanut oil
cayenne pepper, to taste (start with 1/2 t., I'd think)
cilantro to garnish (optional)

Mix onion, ginger, soy sauce, sesame paste, vinegar, sugar, salt, and
sesame oil. Heat peanut oil
until hot. Remove from heat. Stir in cayenne pepper and stir. Add
sesame/soy mixture. Stir well,
then taste. Add more cayenne if you want it spicier.
Put chicken on a serving platter and pour on the sauce. Garnish with
Chinese parsley, if desired
