Does anyone have a quick and easy recipe for applesauce they would like to
share? I love applesauce and would much rather make my own, instead of

The Wednesday, September 22, 2004 Los Angeles Times had a
human-interest op-ed piece about Gateau Basque, that the original name
had probably been Bistochak., and the two dishes are quite dissimilar.

I can find Gateau Basque recipes on the WWW, but Google shows nothing
for Bistochak. Does anyone have a recipe for Bistochak?

I had some of these at a hospital cafeteria in St. Louis that were
absolutely divine. the cheese was probably ricotta. I have looked and
can't seem to find a recipe. Any help would be appreciated!
