Bacon Cheddar Ranch Burgers
1 Ground Beef 1 cup Kraft Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese 1 Pack Oscar Meyer Brown and Serve Bacon slices (cooked bacon) 1 Pack fresh mushrooms 1 Pack of Hamburger rolls Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing (Optional) Yields: 4 Burgers Put ground beef, cheddar cheese, and 3, cut up, pieces of the bacon into a bowl. Mix together lightly. Form the meat mixture into four balls. Lightly grease a frying pan with olive (or vegetable) oil and place the patties into the pan. Cook both sides until the patties are golden brown (Note: Some cheese may melt out into the pan; this is O.K.!) Take the cooked patties out of the pan and place on a plate with paper towels to drain the grease. Place the chopped mushrooms into the warm pan and fry them until they are golden brown. Optional Steps: Toast your hamburger buns on medium heat in the toaster oven. Then, spread ranch dressing on one side of the bun. Take the drained patties and place on the bun. Cut 2 pieces of the left over bacon and place on top of the burger, along with the fried mushrooms. Sprinkle on top of that some of the left over sharp cheddar cheese. Bon AppEtit! Suggestion: Serve with a fresh garden salad with ranch dressing! -- Rec.food.recipes is moderated by Patricia D. Hill at . Only recipes and recipe requests are accepted for posting.
