Buttermilk Pie
This makes two delicious pies. 3 3/4 cups sugar 4 Tbsp all-purpose flour 6 eggs, beaten 1 cup buttermilk 1 cup melted butter (2 sticks) 2 t. vanilla 2 unbaked pie crust Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Combine all ingredients. Mix until well blended. Pour into pie shells. Bake for 10 minutes at 450. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake an additional 40-50 minutes, until center is firm. If the crust start to become too brown, place a strip of foil over the crust, but not over the whole pie. -- Rec.food.recipes is moderated by Patricia D. Hill at .
