Pickled Steak
4 8 med. sized thinly sliced steak (thicker than steak sand. steak) 2 Lg. onions chopped 6 to 8 slices bacon 8 kosher dill pickle slices salt and pepper to taste water 1 cup pickle juice Place bacon lengthwise onto 1 steak strip at a time generously spread onions over bacon. Place 1 slice pickle on each. Roll and secure with toothpicks. Pan brown on all sides. Add water and approx. 1 cup pickle juice. Simmer about 6 hrs.
