Default Cranberry-Orange Jello

Cranberry-Orange Jello

lrge pkg Cherry Jello (or two small pkgs.)
2-cups boiling water
zest from one orange
one 15 oz. can of apricots (discard juice)
the fruit from the orange (not the white part of the peel)
2 - 3 handfuls of fresh cranberries
1/2 cup of chopped walnuts

Dissolve Lg. Cherry Jello (or two small pkgs.)with 2-cups boiling water.
(Do not add any more water). Let cool. Remove the zest from one orange
and place in a blender. Add to the orange zest, one 15 oz. can of apricots
(discard juice), the fruit from the orange (not the white part of the
peel) and 2 - 3 handfuls of fresh cranberries. Pour the 2-cups of cooled
jello liquid into the blender and blend the fruit mixture on low. Pour the
fruit mixture into a glass bowl or jello ring and stir in 1/2 cup of
chopped walnuts. Let set for several hours until firm before serving. My
family & friends reaaly love this jello during the winter holidays with
their Turkey or Chicken dinner.
