Default Cheese Steak Sandwich

Cheese Steak Sandwich

This is how we make cheese steaks when we are in a hurry:

1 pound deli thinly sliced roast beef can use Steakums but they are really
greasy
2 medium onions, sliced thin
1 or 2 green bell peppers, sliced thin
1 garlic clove, finely minced
Fresh mushrooms, sliced thin optional
Yellow cheese, either Velveeta or American cheese slices
Hoagie rolls
Salt and pepper to taste (I don't use extra salt or pepper)
Olive or vegetable oil

Saute the sliced onions, bell peppers, garlic and mushrooms in a bit of
oil until tender. Add the beef and sauti hot. Place on a hoagie bun, top
with cheese and place in the oven on 375: for about 2 minutes or until the
cheese melts. If you cook the whole pound, just refrigerate the leftovers
and heaten up later for more sandwiches. Jan
