Default Is is OK to post about canning jars for sale?

Hi everyone,

I have a friend who just acquired a building with 300+ cases of new
canning jars in it, and he wants to sell them. I found this newsgroup
with a Google search for "canning jars" and it led me to this (old) post
from this newsgroup: "Where can a person buy wholesale canning jars"
http://www.faqs.org/qa/qa-8432.html

I want to know if it is OK to post a message with details, prices, and
contact info. I skimmed the FAQ, and didn't find anything for or against
posting a "for sale" message.

Please let me know if this is allowed.

My name is Chris, and my friend with the jars is Dave.
