Default interesting thread on preserving jalapenos

Over on alt.food.barbecue there is an interesting thread about making
Chipotles from Jalapenos.

Great website link put up by bbq.

Thought this would be of interest to the chili heads here and better than
crossposting.

Thanks for the chileheads-up (a small joke, a very small joke). I've been
trying to convince a farmer at the market to smoke some peppers.

Isn't it better to eat them rather than smoke them?

On a FOOD TV program about Hatch (Hatch Valley, New Mexico) peppers,
there was a woman who smokes garlic as well as peppers. Looked
interesting.

Smoking garlic - that is bizarro, but I'll try almost anything once. Much better
than smoking banana peels as alleged in my yuth.
