I made a batch of black currant jam last week but the juice didn't set up.

I made both jam AND jelly. The jelly came out fine (steam jiuced it first!) but the jam failed to set up. I made both jam AND jelly. The jelly came out fine (steam jiuced it first!) but the jam failed to set up.
