are golden harvest jars just for freezing or both canning & freezing? i picked up some wide mouth pints at the local junk store & as i was washing them i noticed some were golden harvest & near the top it had a line marked freezing. thanks They are plain old mason jars, suitable for canning. Wide mouth pints are especially good for freezing because they are tapered, and the mouth is wider than the jar -- so partially frozen stuff can slip out. Bob |
