Default WOW! Bluebarb jam!!

OK, I'm a convert. Made a batch of strawberry rhubarb jam and a batch of
blueberry rhubarb jam this morning. I've always like blueberry jam , but
this bluebarb jam is amazing. The rhubarb really 'wakes up' the
blueberries!!

Still have some rhubarb left, so will have to get more blueberries - once
batch only made 5 and a half jars, and that's not enough if I'm gonna gift
at Christmas!!

Q to Barb - did you ever make the mango rhubarb jam you were thinking about
last year? How'd if turn out if you did?

Kathi

Huh! I'd forgotten about that. I just checked my records and see that
on May 26, 2006, I made six 8-oz. jars of Strawberry-Mango-Rhubarb jam;
my notation says "variation of straw-rhu jam. A little sweet, but good."
I don't have notes there about *how* I made it.

Some help, huh?

that's OK Barb, if I were gonna make it, I'd wing it like you did. I was
just wondering about your results.

Sure. :-) I was surprised that I didn't have the particulars
recorded; I usually do when I'm putzing with something.

I really hope you mean futzing. :-)

If St. Pectina wants to putz around, she is quite
able...........imagine.....I've seen soup made from them, but only Barb
could figure out how to make jam out of one (or six). Just how many pizzles
do you think it would take to make a decent jam recipe?
