Default last of the tomatoes tonight

Since they're calling for temps in the mid-30's here tonight, I went
out as soon as I got home fom work to "rescue" my ripe and nearly ripe
roma tomatoes.

7 pints in the boiling water bath and 4 more waiting.

I hope you added lemon juice, tomatos are considered borderline
acid foods nowadays.

Yep. I followed the Ball Blue Book instructions and added 1
tablespoon per pint.

As it turns out, they may not be the last. It didn't frost -
everything is still green (even Elephant Ears) and there are still
plenty of tomatoes on the vines (same variety as grown on San Marzano
according to Johnny's Select Seeds catalog).
