Default Pickled Eggs... with "heat"?

I make pickled eggs occasionaly, they never last more than 2 weeks in my
fridge, tend not to make more than 6 at a time. Curious if any chili fans
have tried putting a habanero in the jar along with the eggs? Is 4-5 days
in the jar long enough to add heat to the eggs?
