1/2 fresh corn flour
1/4 cup hot water
4 cups water
1/4 cup light brown sugar
2 tsp. molasses
1 stick cinnamon
1 vanilla bean (split lengthwise)
1 cup fresh strawberries or crushed pineapple

Mix the corn flour with the hot water.
Place the corn flour mixture and 4 cups water in a blender and process
until smooth.
Transfer to a saucepan set on medium heat.
Scrape the seeds from the vanilla bean into the pan along with the cinnamon
