Sopa Verde de Alubias y Setas (Bean and Mushroom Soup)

This recipe comes from a website that promotes mushrooms. Whether it
is "Bean and Mushroom Soup" or "Mushroom and Bean Soup" depends on the
quantity of mushrooms, and exactly what "cuarto" meant to the author
of the recipe. Also, the page was copied from somewhere else and
doesn't have all the correct Spanish fonts, so there are ? for some
missing characters.

The soup is green because of the green tomatoes.

2 tazas de alubias cocidas y escurridas (2 cups of beans, previously
cooked and drained,
(reserving 1 cup of bean broth)
1 cuarto de setas rebanadas muy finas (1 quart or quarter cup of
mushrooms, sliced very finely)
2 dientes de ajo picados (2 cloves of garlic, shredded)
2 tazas de consomme de pollo, res o caldo base (2 cups of chicken
broth, beef, or broth base)
1/2 taza de vino blanco (1/2 cup of white wine)
1 chile poblano asado (1 poblano chile, roasted)
4 tomates verdes asados (4 green tomatoes, roasted)
1/2 cebolla asada (1/2 an onion, roasted)
1/2 taza de crema (1/2 a cup of cream)
1 taza de queso chihuahua en cuadros (1 cup of chihuahua cheese, in
quarters)
1 taza de pan frito en cuadritos (1 cup of fried bread, cubed)
1/4 taza de taza de cilantro (1 quarter cup of cilantro)
Sal y pimienta al gusto (salt and pepper, to taste)

Preparacion: (Preparation

Roasting of the tomatoes, onions and poblano chile is implied in the
ingredients list, as is cooking the beans.

Derrita la mantequilla y salt?las setas hasta reducir el liquido.
(Melt the butter and salt? the mushrooms until the liquid is reduced.
Possibly the author intends to sautee the mushrooms a bit during this
step).

Licue la cebolla, cilantro, chiles poblanos, ajos, tomates verdes,
junto con el consomme, el vino blanco, a?lo a las setas. (Blend the
onion, cilantro, poblano chiles, garlic, green tomatoes, together with
the consomme, the white wine, add it to the mushrooms.)

Cuando suelten el primer hervor agregue las alubias. (When the first
bubbles of steam break the surface of the liquid, add the previously
cooked beans.)

Incorpore el resto del caldo de las alubias y tape por 15 minutos.
(Incorporate the rest of the bean broth and cover for 15 minutes.)

Finalmente agregue la crema y retire del fuego. (Finally, add the
cream and remove from the fire. Do not allow the cream to boil.)

Al momento de servirse, adorne con el queso y el pan. (Add the moment
of serving, adorn with the cheese and bread.)
