Ernest Shepherd ,some stainingto boards,front hinge a little weak (but quite sound) foxing to first/last couple of pages. Large format ,181 pages ,1937, first edition. Splendid old book on British cheeses (despite the title it actually covers cheeses from Wales,Ireland and Scotland). Some excellent illustrations by Mr Shepherd.Authors include Osbert Burdett ( in a way this is a companion to Burdetts Little Book of Cheese) Andre Simon ,Ambrose heath ,Vyvyan Holland ,Oliver St.J.
