Stick a tortilla in a strainer or a large spider, hold it down in the center with whatever you have on hand (I use a fork), and fry it. It's all good and there's no special equipment required. I'll make it even easier for you. It doesn't even have to be very flat on the bottom. It can sit on the plate more or less tilted, cornucopia-like. You can put some refried beans underneath to hold it down if you feel like it. Or just put it in a bowl....... ;-) -- Peace!
