I'm sure I've seen an ad like this, but less elaborate.

Cute and very Rube Goldberg! Someone had fun designing that ad.

OK, so I'm a technological incompetent. I was trying to send it on to a
friend and somehow posted to rfc. Just as well I didn't include any
personal remarks! What's the emoticon for looking sheepish?

I wouldn't worry too much. It's just usenet. I've been working
on computers for going on 30 years and I hit the wrong button(s)
from time to time. Usually from doing too many things at once.

I used to write software that controlled an automated welding
robot. That was a bit intimidating. One bad mistake and you
could end up welding the poor operator.

Oh, it happens, it was just funny to me how Barb said that.
I wondered how you came across it the same time someone
else did, nothing more than that. Didn't mean to embarrass
you.
