Well, no, I can't picture you or your view. Got a digital camera?
Let's see your 17th floor view?

Buenos noches!

Why, sure! Here's a view down to the gerbil tube between the Copley
and Pru malls:

And here's a view up to the top of the Pru:

Howzat?

Felice,

WOW!!! I stood right there 30 years ago. My how things have changed!!! I
think back then the Prudential building was the tallest in Boston. Classy
and convenient location.

Thanks for the views!

I can't see the sun at my house. Here's my views:

Backyard in winter:

If you're ever in Boston, stop in. I won't walk you up to Fenway.

Oh, how beautiful! Can you give us a geographic clue? I moved from a woodsy
site on Cape Cod and I miss my pines 'n' rhodies something awful. But here I
do have southern exposure and sun all day. Wanna swap homes some time?

I'm SW outside of Philadelphia. I'd give you a google map satellite
picture to zoom into but my pine trees hide my house from the
angle/azimuth satellite photograhs. Plus they don't go into the same
resolution detail for rural parts as major metropolis' like Boston.

Search Google maps and type in "110 Huntington Ave, Boston" without
quotes (the Marriot across the street from you) and zoom down to see your
building! KEWL!!!

BTW, I'm familiar with home swapping. But we'd have to meet on both
homefronts, to get a feel for the lay o' the land, so to speak. It's not
out of the question.

I don't remember city speed until I go into center city Philly.

All the best,

Andy

You'll get a chuckly out of this... I just crawled out of bed from a long
nap, still sleep/groggy, eyes half open. When I clicked on your message I
read it as, "it is shanghai to a point." G

Yes, it's truly lovely, and reminds me a lot of the home we left in Ohio when
we moved to Arizona. We lived in a rural area on a sparsely populated
winding road that was embedded in a woods, much the same as your pictures
show.

Imho,

Naps are a luxury I allow myself. David used to say they were cheating and
practically sacriligious, that is, until he took a nap a couple of times.
Now I hear him call from another room, "I'm going to take a nap." :-)

Yes, I should think you'd enjoy it. What did happen? I have always
enjoyed naps, especially in the middle of the day or afternoon. These
days, apart from Saturday and/or Sunday afternoon naps, David and I work
different schedules. I get home from work around 5pm and David around 8pm.
I usually take a nap from around 6-7:30 and I'm good to go for the evening
after he arrives. We have a late supper. I get up around 4:30am for work,
so the nap is very welcome.

4:30am, that's a long day. The long commutes, too, are hell!
You deserve all the naps you can squeeze in, you've got a bold schedule to
work around.

I'm not sure why I don't nap anymore. Sometimes I will fall asleep when a
boring movie is on; but not for long, DH sees to that - tee hee - I guess he
wants someone to be bored along with while watching it.
