Jen the chat channel is IRC (Internet Relay Chat) where the posts are real time. There is also a way to get to it, via the web. Unfortunately, I don't use that interface to get there, but a lot of folks do. Maybe someone who is familiar with the web address, can post it here. Also, if you decide to come into the chat, stay for a bit, and talk. We like to meet new folks.. And change your name from Anonymous to whatever nickname you want: you can do it one of several ways. There is a box on the lower right corner, where you can put your nickname you want to use in the channel, and then hit the Enter key. Christine (ChrisD in the chat channel) |

Some of us see you trying to connect...and wonder what has been keeping you off the channel.. Stupid ass server policy is what's keeping me off. Most of the time, it's no prob. Others, I get a disconnect and try again and again and then I get throttled ...."your repeating connection attempts too fast. You now cannot try to connect for another 5 (or 10 or 15) minutes". As for the java website, I tried and it ask if I'd accept a non-qualified certificate and I reluctantly answered yes, and it still disconnected me. nb |
