HELP! Since we can't know what the original tasted like how are we supposed to help? I will mention that caraway seeds are a popular addition to cabbage dishes - might be worth throwing in a tsp or so. I find the addition of lemons in this to be a bit odd, don't you? Jill |

Jill I thought that maybe a sweet-sour result was desired but there does seem to be too much sour. It almost seems like a weird "cure" for a hangover, which works only because it's so odd that it takes your mind off the pain for as long as you're eating it. |

He said they were experimenting and the result wasn't as expected, so you may be right. I would think you'd need some lemon to counter the sweetness of the apple. -- Practice safe eating. Always use condiments. |
