Randall? It's a great feeling, isn't it? I joined Weight Watchers at the beginning of January and have lost 35 pounds so far, but I had a lot more weight to lose than you. Still, it's amazing how much better I already feel and look, and people are definitely noticing. I don't do exercise. Never have, never will. I see no point in doing something you really hate. :-) Wayne Boatwright @¿@¬ _____________________ m-i-l lived to 91 in good health (mind failure though last couple of years) until she fell to the floor one morning, heart attack. She detested exercise and doctors. When it's my time to go, I hope it's quick like that. I pray that I don't ever have a lingering illness. If f-i-l suggested she go to a doctor for something, she was in a snit for a long while. When I talked about exercising, she only smiled. FIL wears regularly over the past 10 years a t-shirt (of 5 he bought) which says, "Walk for life," and never walked a day in his life until about 3 months ago (80 and has survived his 2 cancer bouts), so he's now walking around the apartments every now and then with cane or walker. It's amazing what some people can go through and just keep on going. Good for him! Congratulations on your 35#. Quite a feat! It won't be long (another 9 years) until you'll be the magic 70 where "they" say it doesn't matter a twit (or is that whit/wit) whether you exercise or not. Thank you! I think I'll adopt that nine years earlier. :-) Lunch today: Portuguese-style Alaska Cod recipe from internet and rice. I seem to recall you don't like cod? Testing out the new electric skillet. Dee Dee I like it fine if it's coated and fried. :-) But, then, that's true for most fish. A new catfish restaurant opened quite near us and their fried catfish is the best I've had outside of a Southern fish camp. -- Wayne Boatwright @¿@¬ _____________________ |

It's very upsetting to have someone laugh at your underpants and kind of kills the mood. If you must laugh, do something goofy to make her laugh as well, then you can disguise your underpants laughter in something else and she'll be none the wiser. -- ..:Heather:. www.velvet-c.com Step off, beyotches, I'm the roflpimp! |

In article , Andy q says...
I will test drive new cars. Just say I intend to pay cash, not lease. It's amazing how fast you'll be in the driver's seat. But don't you feel bad again when you have to take it back? NOPE. Anyway, dealers don't care if you pay cash or not. In fact they make more money if you finance, and if you lease they just sell the car to the leasing company instead of to you. You better reread that paragraph! Tou obviously have never paid cash for a car! I have paid cash for most of my cars. And guess what, the topic of how you are paying doesn't even come up when you are doing a test drive - unless someone thinks that announcing it will impress the salesman. I did re-read the paragraph, it says exactly what I thought - that you think announcing you will pay cash will get you in the driver's seat faster. -- Peter Aitken Visit my recipe and kitchen myths pages at www.pgacon.com/cooking.htm |

In the fish camps they serve small channel cats where a serving might be 3-4 fish. They're small and kinda cute, actually. The restaurant near us serves perfect filets, from bigger fish certainly, but one never sees the whole fish. Look at these Ohio River cats http://www.catfishcountry.com/ Yikes! Yegods, those are monstrous. I don't think I'd want to eat one of those either! :-) -- Wayne Boatwright @¿@¬ _____________________ |
