Default Lotus Stems Curry

Hi guys:

If you can get a hand on a can of lotus stems or get fresh lotus stems
from a nearby store, then this is quite a simple curry:

Really like fresh lotus stems, great sliced and stew with white carrots
(name?), wild mushrooms, chinese cabbage etc...
