Default Meat loaf tonight

Gonna make this tonight. I surfed the web for ideas and made this up
from a composite of ideas. I don't usually use recipes for meatloaf,
but I've decided to start keeping track of what I put in them so I can
get a more consistent result. The ketchup is by request (I would skip
it otherwise, but I can always scrape it off if it's yucky), so feel
free to laugh, but the ketchup stays.

1 lb. ground beef (80%, if I remember right)
1 lb. bulk italian sausage
1 egg
1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
1/2 onion, chopped small
ketchup for "glaze"

You know -- mix it up, don't overmix, top with ketchup, bake. Prolly
350F for about an hour, I think. Gonna serve it with broccoli and
MexiCorn, another request.

Ended up having to keep it warm while people ran errands and stuff,
but it turned out really well. Because of the Italian breadcrumbs and
the Italian sausage, it tastes a lot like my mom's meatballs, which
are yummy. And because I covered it and kept it warm for a while, the
ketchup on top didn't end up all hard and slimy. 'Course, my partners
drenched it in ketchup anyway, but that's their prerogative.
