This looks a lot like what I call gemelli. Is it the same?

No Gemelli are these:
http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...lr%3D%26sa%3DN

They are different! But good!

Well, I love 'em both, then. :-)

James mostly likes to have spaghetti when we have pasta. I can serve
other things, but if he has his preference, it will always be
spaghetti. I would get bored if I always served the same pasta,
though.

Oh yes I understand you because my cat loves mostly short pasta and eats
very few spaghetti.
So, very often, I put two pans on the fi one for my spaghetti and one
for the cat's short pasta
And some times I prepare also two different sauces!
Cheers

Where in hell did you get your concept of presentation... that is the
most disgusting looking pasta dish I've ever seen... looks like some
sort of exotic grubs all shiny with pachyderm ejaculate.

It's the lighting, Sheldon. She's a cook, not a photographer. Unless
someone's got all sorts of lighting apparatus for diffusing the camera
flash, food should be photographed with existing daylight from a window.

Yeah but you look at that pic and wonder why it's not wriggling...

It's not... you're kidding. Look again, change your resolution... look
at all those writhing maggots.

And photography has not a whit to do with it... the lighting is
actually very good,... in fact the photography is quite good, a bit too
close but otherwise a very good depiction of what is actually there,
it's what the human eye would see, a disgusting presentation. That
slick appearance could have easily been toned down some with a
sprinkling of grated cheese and minced parsley... but in fact there's
just simply way too much oil and the pasta is over cooked so it looks
coated with starchy slime because it is coated with starchy slime.
And of course that awful blue plate needs shit canning... what a
horrid color for food... I wouldn't use that to feed my cats, in fact I
wouldn't use it to set a potted plant. And we've seen wet spots on bed
sheets look less slimey and more appetizing, right Greg? hehe

it sounds delicious....but when I got o the 84 grams of fat per
serving, I decided not to save the recipe.....I'm sure lots of the
cream-based sauces I make have that tons of fat, but you don't have to
TELL me! =)

I have noticed that too and I wonder where is the fat. There is only olive
oil, oil and some cheese)
Perhaps you can reduce the oil
Cheers
Pandora

Well, the olives definitely add some fat, but I think it's the amount
of oil that's soaked into the anchovies that adds all that fat.

Take another look. It calls for 3/4 Cup of olive oil, most of which is
to be used for a handful of liitle anchovies. It's either a typo or
really stupid. -aem

Stupid... it's outragious... all that greaze and even a 1/2 cup cheese
and only about 1/6 pound pasta, which is really only one serving, one
SKIMPY serving... no wonder it looks WOP CRAZY GREAZY!

One cat (4 legged) I had years ago absolutely loved spaghetti with meat
sauce. I would cut the spaghetti for her and she would eat an entire bowl
full.

I don't think mine would eat the chili pepper, but she did like having
parmesan cheese sprinkled on it. g Cats seem to like smelly cheeses.
Several of ours now like Limburger cheese.

Ohh! LOL also mine like reggiano cheese over pasta. Better Romano cheese
because it's more stinking DDDDDDDDDDDD

My son brought home a stray cat many years ago that would eat
spaghetti by picking up one strand with it's claw and eating it down.
This same cat was taken with him when he went off to college and jumped
off a second story balcony with no apparent injury. It finally ran
away, probably to be adopted by another unsuspecting family....lol
