Found the best (sarcasm) gadget find of '05. It's a drink stirrer operated
on 2 AA batteries. Yep. Says it will "stir" eggs, drinks and a couple of
other things. I had to have one. It cost a whole $1. I haven't played
with it yet but I'm sure the only thing it will stir is water, if that

Don't laugh. I have one (I think it's the same) and use it frequently.
a simple handle that holds the battery, and a plastic stick split at
the end that "splays" out when operating.

I pre-make a powdered mix of cocoa, sugar, and powdered milk. I can
make hot or cold cocoa. This stirrer is perfect for it. Also, with
heavy whipping cream, this device is perfect for making a single
serving of real whipped cream for topping a dessert. I pre-chill a
small metal bowl with ice water and/or in the freezer, empty, pour in
cream, use the battery thing, and voila! whipped ream in seconds.

Next, try it if you want really fluffy, aerated beaten eggs for a light
and fluffy omelet.
