Now, I can say I've heard everything! Apparently Germans in your neck
of the woods hide a pickle in their xmas trees....

I don't put up a tree. A woman to whom I'd sent some jam sent it to me
as a thank you. "How could I NOT get this for you." grin
Will have to ask Bubba Vic if he does it. (My guess is that he does
not. "-0)

The Norwidgians eat petrified fish, too. Me, I eat wild mushrooms
cooked in sauerkraut juice -- you know, normal stuff.

I remember how naive I was when as a kid my father pointed out an area

My children grew up with Edward Scary books. Seems there was a pickle
hidden on almost every page. We loved it and archived for the next
generation.

Weird yes but so human perhaps.
