Default 20,001 Kitchen Secrets book? Any good?

The puppies woke me up early and I ended up watching an infomercial on
a book, 20,0001 Kitchen secrets. I figured if anyone knew if it was
worth the paper it is printed on you guys would. I am thinking
Christmas gift for Daughter in Law. Any reviews of the book?
Thanks Pam

If it's "20,001 Food Facts, Chef Secrets and Household Hints," take a
look at this page It is supposed to be excerpts from an interview with
the author. Based on just these few excerpts I would expect the book
to be full of untested, unreliable, foolish crap. -aem

I saw the infomercial, and I kept thinking "What . . . ? ? ?".
I don't remember the specific examples, but I thought they
were all stupid, wrong, or both. I wasn't the least bit
tempted to buy the book. It looked to me like the sort
of book a writer would create to meet a certain perceived
market for a book. Books like that are usually the worst
treatment of a subject.
