Default OT: Happy Birthday Dear James

James Moriarty, my giant grey kitten boy turned 9 today. He will get some sort
of special treat. My husband really thinks that he's the only cat we've had
who has a sense of humor. He teases the girls. He was out till 1 a.m. today
and I hope he had fun. He got his name as he is the Napoleon Of Crime. It's
sort of odd how he thinks things out before he acts. He is also called El
Destructo, as he shreads our couches, rugs and papers.

Awwwwww. Happy birthday James!! May you have 9 times your 9
lives!!

Speaking of birthday kitties... 'I remember when...' my ex and
the late Jazz-kitty had birthdays that were 1 week apart... One
year, when we were financially handicapped (as most newlyweds
were - back then! LOL) their birthday dinner consisted of tuna
sandwiches and chocolate cake (cake only for human consumption).
Jazz was only supposed to get the juice from the can and maybe a
little forkful of the tuna... Well! Longer story shortened...A
little while after eating Miles and I were outside and I
mentioned to him that there was 1/2 of a sandwich (sammich) left
and that it wouldn't store well... did he want it? Of course.
So I go inside to get the last sandwich when what do I see but
the sandwich, very precisely, opened up and the filling removed!
WTH? So I go back outside and inquire about why I was sent to
get him the sandwich that he already ate...! G He didn't.
Kitty muffins did the removal operation all by herself. After
that, all foods that were not being guarded were put up
immediately!

Thanks for jogging my memory. Jasmine (aka kitty muffins, among
several other pet names LOL) passed away last year on the 6th
of June. She was 16. I would've said 'sweet 16' but that wasn't
usually the case .
