And many m--o-o-o-o-r-e.......
Dora -- snip I am puzzled - why my headers? I hope you're doing OK. Dora I'm sorry, Dora. I just began to write to this newsgroup under this screen name and don't think I had it set up right. I made one change so I hope it's better now. Thanks for asking. What will help me is to keep my brothers at a distance for now. One calls me up and says hateful things about Dad. The other one only corresponds by email and takes most of what I write the wrong way and strikes out against me, getting very offended. And I'm the one who doesn't speak her mind and tries to keep the peace. It upsets me every time I deal with them. I sent Dad a pound of chocolate cherries, a pound of fruit creams and a red chocolate rose today. About food, I'm making some spaghetti sauce to cook all night in the slow cooker. |

penmart01wrote: Happy Birthday, Barb! Thanks! It's been a fun day. I woke up to posies next to my cup at the coffee pot, then moved to my computer to check my email and there was a big ol' Amazon.com gift certificate for me from Rob. Chris called while I was making Raspberry Jelly and then I headed to lunch with Niece Patty at Don Pablo's. Awesome dessert! From there I went to the Land's End Inlet and did a little damage. Sometimes you just have to have what they're selling! "-) To the grocery store for sugar and pectin ('tis the season, doncha know), then home. Then to dinner at a nearby steak house (a chain operation, but it's decent enough) where I ordered a chunk o' prime rib, knowing I'll be having it for breakfast on the morrow. I actually turned down the free birthday dessert. Borrowed Hidden Prey from Patty and have two days to read it before it's due back at the library. Good thing I like Sandford and his books - most are set in the Twin Cities, this one's in Duluth! Can't wait to talk to Beck about that. Sam called to sing "Happy Birthday to Babi" -- it doesn't get much better than this, Sheldon. And, damn!, that Raspberry Jelly is gorgeous! Oh boy, raspberry jelly, and posies by your cups... life is good! ---= BOYCOTT FRANCE (belgium) GERMANY--SPAIN =--- ---= Move UNITED NATIONS To Paris =--- ********* "Life would be devoid of all meaning were it without tribulation."
