Hi David,

If you search for your Prodigy ID "HGSK65A" on Google, it returns over 60
pages that appear to have recipes. A further look at the individual pages
may point you to other sites that contain even more of your recipes.

I frequented that group a lot, too.
Do you remember Dana Jacoby used to host it.

And searching on Google for "Mealmaster recipe HGSK65A" turns up
some hits as well.

I'm sorry to hear that, David. I thought it might lead to something
more. I also tried Google Groups and nothing was returned on that.
Perhaps there are some groups where old Prodigy members hang out. I'm
not familiar with that, although I was on the Internet when Prodigy was
popular.

Best of luck,
Wayne

The funny thing was the arguments over keeping messages "on topic" and
putting misc chatter into "Food Forum" (or perhaps there was a
different one for misc.) The problem was that on Prodigy, one had to
read the messages serially- i.e., to find interesting stuff in a
thread, you sometimes had to wade through lots of off-topic chatter
and many regulars didn't care about those who weren't interested (yet
had to pay for on-line time).

Poor John Mariani- when he took over as leader of the Food BB he got a
lot of flak from those who wanted to continue to use the board as
their kitchen table. Here they had this knowledgeable, famous guy at
their disposal and people didn't appreciate it. (He was also the
leader of the Eating Out BB too, I believe.)

I actually enjoyed rfc when I first discovered it because at that time
it was more on-topic, less contentious, and the newsreader (the old
Pipeline one) made it easier to avoid subjects that were not of
interest. These days rfc is about at the level of the Prodigy BB, but
at least the newsreaders are better.

But even the Food BB wasn't as disorganized and dysfunctional as the
"Get Organized" BB <ROFL>!

Unfortunately, I can't help you with the recipes because my Prodigy
stuff is on my old computer.
