Default Roasted Salted Peanuts

Was finishing up some peanuts left over from the ballpark the other day
and it occurred to me I don't know how the salt gets inside the shells
of roasted peanuts. Can anyone tell me? -aem

The peanuts are boiled in salted water in the shell, then dried/roasted. My
grandmother used to make them at home that way.
