Default Latest word on Ophelia

She has turned the corner and has eaten a meal. Let's hope the staff is
more careful about hygiene this time. I'll keep you posted if anything
unusual turns up.

(I tried to post earlier but for some reason the "New Post" message keeps
appearing in an earlier thread. Strange.)

I feel like I'm reading private email with all these cryptic messages?
Did anyone announce what is wrong with Ophelia, and I missed it?

That's funny, reading it from that point of view it does look like
a secret handshake. Ophelia had her knee re-replaced, the first
time she developed a nasty infection.

I didn't know either. The message sounded ominous and worse than knee
replacement surgery. Thanks for asking about it. Here's hoping
Ophelia is on her feet ASAP.

What was really ominous was the first surgery on her other knee. From what
I understand, the infection that set in was life-treatening. That would
certainly give one pause about having a 2nd such surgery. I think she made
a very brave decision.

I agree Wayne, when you get an infection in a knee replacement there's a
real chance of losing your leg. Revision surgery is usually a lot more
complicated, and the recovery time is usually a lot longer.
I hope Ophelia is back at home and posting ASAP!

The orginal message from limey telling us was inserted into the hurricane
Ophelia thread. I went and looked back cause I was confused too. The
obvious place to look was the thread on "Ophelia" which I found out was
about the hurricane. I looked for limey's name.. and voilà! there it was.
My prayers are with her as well.
